2GA1 is an R&B duo from Baton Rouge, La. If you think you've experienced R&B, Hip-Hop and Soul to the fullest. Well you have not. 2 (two) voices like no other with a sound that feels like an anti-dote and a taste like a spice that's been missing from the Hip-Hop, R&B, Soul world.
Patricia (Dolly) Hatcher from Baton Rouge, La. Better known to most as “Pat” started her musical career at an early age of 9. Pat wrote and performed her first song for her Elementary School in front of an audience of 400 for her 6th grade
graduation ceremony. (Come on Ya'll Ole School) Pat continued her education in music by performing in her Jr. High and High school academics. She tried playing the Tuba in Jr. High, Clarinet, Tenor Sax, Eb Clarinet and the Oboe. But
she soon realized that singing is definitely her passion. Pat has opened concerts for the legendary “Johnny Adams” of New Orleans, La. Shirley Brown in Natchez, Ms. She's performed in multiple festivals in around Louisiana and Mississippi. While on her path of music she met, her better half,Darryl Hatcher, from New Orleans, La. Needless to say Culture is his middle name along with Crooner, Soul Man and Awesome. He went to NOCCA with Wynton and Branford Marsalis. Learning so much about the music world Darryl is truly multi-talented. From the French Quarters to the Seanger Theatre opening shows for International Recording Artist the Winans. While on his busy road of music Darryl met Pat. They clicked right away; they knew that they were meant
to be. Pat heard Darryl's voice and he won her heart. Darryl looked into Pat's eyes and saw her Soul. Right then and there was the making of “Together As One” / “2GA1”. 2GA1, has been established for 15 years. Their busy began before their marriage. Needless to say they are still together, crossing new paths on a daily basis in music and in life. Both sharing the same desire and passion MUSIC. Along their quest, 2GA1 has opened concerts for International Recording Artist, Ohio Players, Slave, Lakeside, Joe, Kci & Jojo. Traveled on the road with International Recording Artist “ROME”. Also experienced the pleasure of singing background for International Recording Artist, Jeane Carne and Mikki Howard. And are currently scheduling a tour with International Recording Artist, “Next and “Mint Condition” starting in Mobile, Al.
