Back in 2002, six people came together with one common goal: To introduce a style of music that was not only extremely entertaining to listen to, but unique in such a way that it would grab everyone's attention no matter what genre of music they preferred. Success was achieved for this goal in the form of Property Six. Based out of Phoenix, Arizona, the original "six" came together and forged a path through the scene that, later on, other local acts would begin to emulate. With the release of their first album "For Sale," Property Six began to create a huge name for themselves by playing with national hip-hop and rock acts such as Curtis Blow, 2LiveCrew, hed(p.e.), Hot Action Cop, KRS ONE, and many more. Property Six then endeavored on a 42 city tour with Arizona phenoms The Phunk Junkeez and gained further recognition nationwide for their unique performance and sound.
Success came again in 2006 when Property Six released their second full-length album entitled "Stop the Press." This album set a new standard in the crossover genre by blending elements of hardcore rap, alternative, hip-hop and rock. With moving lyrics, fantastic melodies and flow, and a stage presence that is unbeatable, Property Six took Phoenix by storm with "Stop the Press." The music video for the album's title track was then produced in mid 2006 and drew even more attention to Property Six by showcasing government and media corruption. Getting involved in the community is also a big part of Property Six. Proceeds from performances have been donated to keep music in schools and for Hurricane Katrina victims. They have also participated in presidential campaign rallys and encourage all their listeners to register and vote. Members have come and gone from P6, but the original mentality remains in it's current incarnation. To make entertaining and unique music, while performing an intense show that titillates an audience into clamoring for more. With fresh ideas and a determination that is uncommon amongst unsigned artists, Property Six continues to stretch to the skies in order to succeed.
