Omar Dyer was born in Hoboken New Jersey, on December 17 – where he played football for the Redwings in Hoboken. As a student athlete Omar Dyer through community service was given a key to the city of Hoboken at the age of 18. He later went to the University of Oregon in attempts to walk-on at the school. After failing in his attempts to make the team, Omar Dyer created this community service program, and award: The Impact Player Award. During his starting up periods of the Award, Omar Dyer interned for Time Warner – and ESPN. While with Time Warner, Omar Dyer entered into the Institution of Children’s literature; thus getting an associates degree in children’s literature. Where he wrote and won the award for: “Missy the Menace” – which is in the book called: A Journey of A Legend. This book nominated him for Children’s writer of the year in 2007. Omar Dyer then entered into Kaplan University in 2007, and has been able to get masters in education. That gave him Doctors in Philosophy with degrees in Interdisciplinary studies with an emphasis on child development. A couple of degrees that range from bachelors in technical communication, and masters in legal studies. During Omar Dyer’s days at Kaplan University – he wrote five books, America’s War: The Next Generation of Leaders; Election: My Ride with Barack Obama, A Literacy Tour on America, and A Journey of A Legend. Where he managed to campaign with Senator Barack Obama, helping him win key states like: Indiana, Ohio, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Omar then later ran for office himself in 2009: as he mounted a write in campaign for the gubernatorial race in New Jersey. Which launched him as the YouTube blogger, and made his title TheFanNJ more noticeable? TheFanNJ launched a Recall of Mayor Jerramiah Healy and which will be a movie released documentary soon, and he’s now launching a movie / documentary for the Recall of Governor Chris Christie; where he plans to run to be Governor of New Jersey in 2013.
