Our 13 song debut album, "Conditions of Optimism" was produced by 7x Grammy Winner Brian Chirlo. Our music uses an array of influences from Modern Pop, Jazz, Rap, Motown and R&B and we play live for our local fans around NYC and the NJ area and look forward to meeting our fans along the east coast during our 2017 Summer Tour. We started in the beginning of 2015 under the name "The Weedenders". After releasing our first EP, we signed a publishing deal with CDF records for our single, "Save Your Breath". After having some changes in the group, we decided to change our name to Pom Oak, serving as a small tribute to the small towns our two members come from - Pompton Plains and Oakland NJ. We have recently performed on the Camplified Tour, at the Meadowlands State Fair, Mexicali Live, Gramercy Theater in NYC, and at a sold out studio room in "Webster Hall" opening for "The Spill Canvas". Our music has also been featured on "Headliners" - a show directed by members of "Yellowcard", "The Rocket Summer" and "Anberlin".
