Kevin won national and international awards in his field, was both a Wright Fellow and an Einstein Fellow, and did some work with Brookhaven National Laboratory. Astronomy for Everyone: Size & Scale of the Universe, one of our twenty incredible astronomy programs, is an exciting family program for ages 8 to 100+ about the universe from the very small to the very large that lasts approximately 1 ½ hours. It's a virtual journey throughout the cosmos. I use an MS PowerPoint slide presentation format with my laptop PC, so a digital projector and screen are needed. I also incorporate some exciting video footage. Following this indoor formal presentation, we all go outdoors to view celestial objects in the night sky through a powerful hand-crafted telescope, such as the ice crystal rings of Saturn, craters on the Moon, etc., weather permitting.
