Songs such as “I Will Take Care of You” and “Ordinary Miracles” which have been known to bring fans to tears and cause them to pull the car to side of the road if they hear them while driving. Songs with the spine tingling spirituality of “If My Heart Had Wings” and “Heaven”, the gutsy wisdom of “Love, Pain and the Whole Damn Thing” and “Til You Love Somebody”, and the passionate inspiration of “Phenomenal Woman”. Amy Sky has always used her songs and recordings to reflect "where" she is in life. Her 2003 CD, With This Kiss - A Romance Collection is a celebration of good times past and of those to come. On that CD, Amy dipped into a treasure chest of other peoples' songs in addition to her own.

Inspired by the hundreds of fan letters she received, thanking her for capturing the emotions and reality of being a woman in the millennium, Amy released in 2001, Phenomenal Woman - the title track set to music of the anthemic poem “Phenomenal Woman” by American Poet Dr. Maya Angelou. Phenomenal Woman became the theme and title of a Global Television special which aired the Mothers Day weekend of 2001. This album also spawned the hit singles "Touch" and "I believe in Us.

Anne Murray and Natalie MacMaster scored chart singles with Amy's songs in 1999 - Anne as a duet with her daughter Dawn Langstroth ("Let There Be Love") and Natalie with a MacMaster/Sampson/Sky collaboration called, "In My Hands.

Amy's second album Burnt By The Sun generated in 1998/1999 the hit singles and videos, "Waterfall," "Heaven," "Ordinary Miracles" and "Love, Pain and the Whole Damn Thing." Amy was nominated for a Juno Award for Songwriter of the Year and the chart-topping song, "Love, Pain and the Whole Damn Thing," garnered a SOCAN Award.

Cool Rain, also yielded a #1 video for the single "Til You Love Somebody." In 1998, that song, along with "Deliver Me," a collaborative effort for Roch Voisine, won Amy two more SOCAN Awards.

In addition to her chart success and recording career, in 2001 Amy appeared alongside Margot Kidder and Maggie Cassella for an extended run in The Vanina Monologues in Toronto. She reprised the role at Artpark, New York in 1998.
