Jake Johannsen has a some what of twisted sense of innocence, a calm outrageousness that's without a doubt "Jake Johannsen". He's a teller of stories, an absurd character who is said to come up with some of the oddest imagery this side of The Far Side. His style weaves a intriguing web that is a fine pleasure to be trapped into. He's very unique, uplifting, and not at all predictable. Very much so an entertainer with much appeal. He's even got style in his on stage attire that perfectly frames his unusual stage personality.
Jake recently co-starred in the film Mrs. Parker and the Vicious Circle. He was the host of Comedy Central's Two-Drink Minimum. He's been seen lurking all over HBO, including an excellent solo performance, This'll Take About an Hour, also a One Night Stand and a Young Comedians Special. Jake has made numerous appearances on The Tonight Show and The Late Show with David Letterman. Most memorable when he entertained former President George Bush at the famous Ford's Theater in Washington, D.C.
