This singer/songwriter began rapping at the early age of 12, and professionally singing at the age of 16. Cronin has constantly managed to create a path for himself that is anything but pre-organized or fabricated. Throughout his grass roots struggle upbringing Cronin always managed to stay focused on being the creator of his own music, writing all the tracks that have been released and were instant hits in the US and overseas.

After realizing his calling Cronin and long time friend Brad Fischetti met Devin Lima and the three formed “LFO”. Cronin and his band mates began their career with some minor success in Germany, Austria and Switzerland before being invited by Rap/Hip Hop legend LL Cool J to join his 1998 “Phenomenon Tour”. The pop trio burst onto the US charts in 1999 with the smash single “Summer Girls”, written and produced by Cronin before having an official record deal. US radio listeners found the track so infectious that after a few short weeks it landed at #1 on the US National Singles Chart, and stayed there for 6 weeks. Shortly after “Summer Girls” was released as a commercial single and took less than a year to go double platinum.
After years of adversity, LFO landed a record deal with manager Louis Pearlman and record label Arista. The self titled LP was released in August of 1999 and went onto to go double platinum in the United States. LFO followed up the #1 smash "Summer Girls" with another one of Cronin’s creations, the top 10 hit “Girl on TV”, which was certified Gold in the US. Following the success of "Girl On TV", the single “I Don’t Wanna Kiss You Goodnight”, was released and shortly became another top ten selling single. The final single from the debut LP was “West Side Story”, a top 5 selling single also penned by Cronin himself.
Following a tour in 2000 Cronin and his LFO band mates signed on with Clive Davis and J Records. As a member of J-Records, Cronin and his LFO band mates wrote and recorded “Life is Good”, the follow up LP to 1999’s self titled LP. On “Life is Good” Cronin showed off his songwriting skills by writing nearly every track on the LP. Clive Davis himself named Cronin executive producer of the record.
The first single “Every Other Time” was an instant radio smash and top ten single. In addition to writing the hit single himself, Cronin also wrote and recorded other tracks for the LP with rap and Hip Hop legends De la Soul and controversial under ground rapper M.O.P. Cronin also recorded with a member of the Neptune’s camp, rising star “Kelis”, who won the UK award for “Best New Artist” last year. The LP was received very well by critics, and was awarded an “A-“ from Entertainment Weekly Magazine. As a songwriter Cronin has collaborated with such writers as Steve Kipner (Christina Aguilera), Matthew Wilder (No Doubt), Rick Knowles (Jewel, Madonna, Dido), and Rick Neilson of Cheap Trick. Cronin has also worked with such producers as Kenny Gioia and Sheppard, as well as the production companies Dakari, and Underground.
In the spring of 2002 Cronin spent time opening for pop group “O-Town”, letting crowds all over the country get a sample of his some new material. Cronin hopes to release more self-made music sometime soon. Currently Cronin lives in Orlando and is now managed by his brother, music executive Mike Cronin.
