"I Just Started Hatin' Cheatin' Songs Today" put Moe Bandy's name on the country charts, and, more importantly, he followed up his first hit and established himself as a legitimate country star. He was named Most Promising Male Vocalist in 1975 by the Academy of Country Music, and his single, "It's A Cheatin' Situation," won the ACM's Song of the Year honor in 1980.

In 1979, Moe began to occasionally team up with label mate Joe Stampley - and a collaboration of hit records followed. They won "Vocal Duo of the Year" honors in 1980 from the Country Music Association and in 1980 and 1981 from the Academy of Country Music. They also received a gold album for Just Good Ol' Boys.

More than thirty Top Ten singles since his 1974 chart-topper, "I Just Started Hatin' Cheatin' Songs Today," Moe Bandy is still singing songs that drive right to the heart of country. He's honest, down-to-earth, likeable... a star in the truest sense of the word, who always remains accessible to his audiences. Moe has recorded Ten # 1 hits, 45 of his records went Top Ten and his album "Good Ol' Boys" with Joe Stampley went Gold. You can find him most of the year performing his show on stage in Branson, Missouri as well as performing selected tour dates. His vocal style over the years has mellowed, enriching his contribution to country music.

Star of Stage, Screen, Radio and Rodeo! Relive time and again Moe Bandy's incredible performance on stage. The whole family will enjoy watching this world-famous Branson entertainer performing his top ten hits including favorites such as "Americana," "Where's the Dress" and "Till I'm Too Old to Die Young."

Closely associated with the sport of Rodeo, Moe's first entertainment success came as a competition bare back bronc and bull rider. Then after he became a successful country music singer, he played the Rodeo circuit receiving PRCA's award for Entertainer of the Year. Moe continues to record, recently completing a new country project in Nashville.

This is his full Branson show. The show features Classic Cowboy Music, Variety & Comedy.

Moe Bandy fused honky tonk into the country psyche of the '70s. From 1974 to 1984 he had a nearly unbroken string of top ten country hits on GRC and Columbia, the best of which are gathered here on one superb 20-track collection. All the big hits are here, including "I Just Started Hating Cheating Songs Today," "It Was Always So Easy To Find An Unhappy Woman," and "Hank Williams, You Wrote My Life." In addition, Bandy's hit duets with Janie Fricke, Judy Bailey, Joe Stampley and Becky Hobbs are included.
