Winners of the Academy of Country Music’s and Country Weekly Magazine’s “Top New Vocal Group of the Year” awards, RICOCHET is above all else consummate vocalists and musicians. From their incredible debut, RICOCHET which boasts the #1 hit, “Daddy’s Money” (a song which still remains a Country Gold Top 20 single & the highest charting Country Gold single by a band or group) and Top 10 hits such as “What Do I Know” and “Love Is Stronger Than Pride” to their sophomore project, BLINK OF AN EYE, which featured charting singles “He Left A Lot To Be Desired”, “Connected At The Heart” and “Blink Of An Eye”, the group has continued to receive rave reviews. This includes the Radio & Records Reader’s Poll “Group of the Year” title along with being named the #1 selling group in country music for 19 straight weeks. RICOCHET has also enjoyed repeated chart success with special releases such as their holiday standards “Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow” and “The Star Spangled Banner”.

RICOCHET is renowned for their powerful six (6) part vocal harmonies and outstanding musicianship. As one of the few groups in country music to be totally self-contained, RICOCHET needs no help from equipment tricks or additional musicians to present what many call “the most exciting show in the business.” Considered by many as one of country’s hardest working acts, RICOCHET has presented their incredible harmonies and energetic stage show over 750 times in the last five years, including arena tours with John Michael Montgomery, Marty Stuart and Travis Tritt and project the 2002 schedule to exceed 130 shows.

After over two years of writing and recording, RICOCHET completed their third studio album, WHAT YOU LEAVE BEHIND, for Sony/Columbia with producers David Malloy (Reba McEntire), Blake Chancey (Dixie Chicks) and Ron Chancey (Oak Ridge Boys) which was released in the fall of 2000. This third album, which for the first time features three band penned songs (including Heath Wright’s moving title cut based upon a true story), reflects the group’s ever increasing musical depth in both lyrical content and musical performance. Third album singles “Seven Bridges Road”, “Do I Love You Enough” and “She’s Gone” have already climbed the radio charts and remain active across the country. The videos of “Seven Bridges Road” and “She’s Gone” are favorites on CMT & Great American Country.

RICOCHET has remained true to their roots of country music and the western lifestyle in both their music and look. The year 2000 saw long-term corporate partner WRANGLER® WESTERN WEAR come on board

as the group’s Title Tour Sponsor and an increasing focus on performing at western life style events such as National Finals Rodeo, Cheyenne Frontier Days, and the National High School Finals Rodeo. The success of those efforts resulted in RICOCHET and WRANGLER® WESTERN WEAR once again joining forces in 2001 with an increased commitment to performances and appearances tied to rodeo, bull riding and western lifestyle events in addition to their normal touring.

Additionally, after making NASCAR history last year as the first musical artist to be a Title Sponsor of a race day event (“RICOCHET Qualifying Day” for the Winston 500 at Talladega Superspeedway), RICOCHET continues their involvement in NASCAR with numerous pre-race concerts scheduled throughout the 2001 season. The group has also recorded an Eddie Kilgallon & Greg Cook penned song “Get This Show On The Road” which will serve as the official song of MRN (Motor Racing Network, “The Official Radio Network of NASCAR”) and will be heard at the beginning and end of each Winston Cup broadcast.

Three of the members of RICOCHET are accomplished songwriters with numerous cuts by other artists, including keyboard player Eddie Kilgallon’s co-write on George Strait’s #1 hit “One Night At A Time” which was chosen as ASCAP’s “Song Of The Year”. Now, in addition to writing songs both for themselves and others, the group is rapidly gaining a reputation for writing and performing commercially themed songs such as “Get This Show On the Road” for NASCAR’S MRN, “Dancing Down In Texas (in their Wrangler 20X’s)” for Wrangler® Western Wear, “Talladega White Knuckle Weekend” for Talladega Superspeedway and “Cowboy Up & Party Down” which is currently under consideration as a television theme song for rodeo events.

RICOCHET has also gained a reputation as the most requested National Anthem performers in country music. As the only musical group to “Chart” (Billboard and R&R) the national anthem, RICOCET regularly performs “The Star Spangled Banner” for the Professional Football, Baseball and Hockey leagues, along with NASCAR Winston Cup Races, Professional Rodeo Cowboy’s Association rodeos and Professional Bull Rider events. The group’s ability to deliver amazing a capella presentations anyplace or anytime resulted in RICOCHET being invited to be “performing presenters” at the coveted CMA Awards where they presented their category’s nominations and winners via a band written a capella song.

This six member group is composed of Jr Bryant, vocals, fiddle, mandolin and guitar; Greg Cook, vocals and bass guitar; Shannon Farmer, steel guitar, dobro, lap steel and guitar; Marty Mitchell, vocals, drums, and percussion; Dwayne Dupuy on keyboards and vocals, and Heath Wright, lead vocals, and guitar. As evidenced by the media, radio, sponsors and fans, RICOCHET is here to stay.
