As a host, he has seen daily on the Family Channel's "That’s My Dog" a show that showcases people and their pets in lively competitions. On the weekends, Wil can be seen as the host of "Why didn't I Think of That" a nationally sydicated show that looks at the humorous and creative side of inventors and their inventions. In January '95, a new cable network HGTV debuts with Wil as host of one of their original weekly shows, "That's Home Entertainment" - a show that will amuse and inform you on all the choices in home entertainment. Still running on cable, Wil can be seen hosting "Two Drink Minimum" a showcase for stand up comedian's in Comedy Central. He was seen for five years as a regular corespondent and guest host on ABC's popular daytime show "Home". He hosted a popular animal show on CBS entitled "Prime Time Pets" that was also seen in numerous countries around the world. As a stand up comedian, he has made dozens of appearences on "The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson and Jay Leno", on "Late Night with David Letterman" and daytime's "The David Letterman Show" had him as a regular member. "The Oprah Winfrey Show" and "The Phil Donahue Show" have also had him as a comedy guest star. He has appeared as a co-headliner or opening act in Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe, Reno and Atlantic City at Caesar's, Harrah;s, Desert Inn, The Sands, The Aladdin, and Trump Plaza with the likes of Joan Rivers, John Denver, Crystal Gayle, Loretta Lynn, the Gatlins Brothers, Neil Sedaca, Andy Williams, Tom Jones, Jay Leno and Jerry Seinfeld just to name a few. Wil is in big demand on the convention circuit, where he produces his own off-beat comedy films, designed to lampoon top corporate operations. His credits include work for The GAP, COORS, DAYTON/HUDSON/MARSHAL FIELDS, FUJITSU ELECTRONICS, OUTBOARD MARINE CORP, and BLUE CROSS/BLUE SHEILD, as well as a special film for Barry Manilow's Concert Tour. He was host of all the CAESAR'S WORLD PROPERTIES Gaming Information Channels. Wil was born in New York City where his father was Herb Shriner, a popular humorist and television personality, was hosting "Two for the Money".
