Dr. Ichak Adizes
Dr. Adizes is the creator of the methodology for organizational transformation that bears his name. An expert in the field of conflict and change, he consults to both business and political leaders throughout the world. The Adizes methodology for managing change has been used successfully by over 1,000 organizations worldwide, ranging from Fortune 100s and nonprofits to startups and mid-size companies. An advisor to foreign governments, Dr. Adizes has consulted or lectured to the Prime Ministers and cabinets of Israel, Sweden, Greece, Brazil, Ghana, Iceland, Mexico, Macedonia and others. Dr. Adizes lectures in four languages and has spoken in more than 42 countries. His work and writing have been featured in many prominent magazines and newspapers, including Inc. Magazine, Fortune, the New York Times, and the London Financial Times. He is the author of seven books that have been translated into 22 languages. His most recent work, "Managing Corporate Lifecycles," is a revised and expanded edition of his 1988 book "Corporate LifeCycles: How and Why Corporations Grow and Die and What to Do About It." An acknowledged classic in management theory, it was selected one of the 10 Best Business Books by The Library Journal. His other works include: "Self-Management" (1975); "How to Solve the Mismanagement Crisis" (1979); "Mastering Change: The Power of Mutual Trust and Respect in Personal Life, Family, Business and Society" (1992); and "Pursuit of Prime" (1996). He was awarded his Ph.D. by Columbia University. Dr. Adizes served in a tenured position at the John E. Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA, where among his achievements was the establishment of the nationīs first Management of the Arts MBA program. He also held appointments as visiting professor at Hebrew University (Jerusalem), Tel Aviv University, Stanford University and Columbia University. He is currently Academic Dean of the Adizes Graduate School of Organizational Transformation, which he founded in 1995.
