He is an Olympic gold medallist and three time basketball All-American at Princeton. Twice during his ten-year career with the New York Knicks he was a member of World Champion squads, and he epitomized the ultimate team player-disciplined, unselfish and smart. Life on the Run, his highly praised book about the Knick years, has become a classic in sports literature.
