AJ is the co-host of BET's signature series, "106 & Park." Viewers of the music program are treated to the biggest stars and their hottest videos five days a week. Prior to forming Horizon Entertainment Group, AJ founded Black Diamonds Entertainment a unified group of African-American independent event planners/promoters to host and coordinate major events. During the course of his career, AJ has accrued nine years experience in the event planning / marketing / promotions business. Through this experience he has been able coordinate events for notable clients such as The Democratic National Committee, Thompson, Cobb, Bazilio & Associates, N.A.A.C.P, 100 Blackmen of America Inc., Magic Johnson Foundation and the Shabazz Family. A native of New Jersey, AJ attended Howard University in Washington, DC where he majored in International Business. At Howard he reinstated the Howard University Entrepreneurs Society and served as the organization's president for two years. Also during his time at Howard, AJ worked with University Music in the promotions department where he implemented and managed the promotion of events and independent homecoming concerts.
