Internationally known for her portrayal of the fourteen year old girl in the movie, "The Exorcist", Linda Blair had already had a full career in modeling & commercials in NYC. At the age of Five years old, Linda began working as a model for such well known stores as Sears, J.C. Penny's & Macy's, to name a few. She also became the "CINDERELLA" girl, who's beautiful pictures from around the country appeared in the NY Sunday Times Magazine. Her first commercial was for Downey fabric softener, which led to a career of over 75 commercials, ranging from Welch's Grape Jelly, Guldens Mustard, several Ivory Soap commercials, cereals, toys & she became the "HEIDI" girl for a young girl's doll.

Although, you would thing Linda would have been kept busy, the little girl dreamed of becoming a veterinarian. Her late mother, Elinore Blair, who passed away in June of 1994, was a great believer in Linda pursuing all of her interests, which included: gymnastics, modern dance, tap dance, piano lessons, sailing, sewing, and artwork and even winning the Presidential Physical Fitness Award in school. Linda's greates passion became horses. She began riding at about 6 years old and started showing in the larger horse shows at age 10. Later, Linda became a successful Jr. Rider, qualifying for the year end indoor horse shows with a variety of her horses. Linda also completed a successful tour with her now retired horse, "Northern Bound" in the amateur Owner jumper division in 1990-1991. She has hopes of putting together a motion picture that portrays the sport of Grand Prix show jumping with her company Falcon-Wolf Productions.

Linda's mother, who was a great seamstress, sewed the formal gowns which Linda designed and wore to the Academy Awards, Golden Globes, etc. Linda also designed some stage clothes for friends in bands like "Lynyrd Skynyrd" and "Molly Hatchet". Linda has sold several of her paintings at charity events and in the future, hopes to have more time to spend on her artwork.

The Exorcist, which was release in December 1973, changed Linda's life forever. She made such famous TV movies like: "Born Innocent", "Sarah T. Portrait of a Teenage Alcoholic" (Linda won the AA Award for special contribution to this tragic problem) "Sweet Hostage" (with Martin Sheen) which has become many people's favorite movie of Linda's, and "Summer of Fear" directed by Wes Craven. Her movies have ranged from roller skating in "Roller Boogie" and starring with Richard Burton in "Exorcist II: The Heretic". Kirk Douglas & Elizabeth Taylor played her parents in "Victory at Entebbe" along with a major celebrity cast including Anthony Hopkins, a TV movie based on a true story. Though known for dramatic work, Blair has made a breakthrough in the comedy world, which is difficult in these times. She starred in "Up Your Alley" with Murray Langston (The Unknown Comic) which is a nice family movie, to her outrageous spoof on herself in the movie "Repossessed" starring Leslie Nielson.

In 1993 she went to the Phillipines and filmed "Double Blast", a kid's martial arts movie, which ran on cable in April of 1995.

In 1994 she finished acting and co-producing the movie "Skins". The film speaks out agains racism and violence on the streets. It also stars Wings Hauser, who wrote and directed the film, as well.

In the fall of 1994 Linda made a guest appearance on Aaron Spelling's new TV show, "Robin's Hoods". The year before that she starred with Bobcat Goldthwait in "Married With Children", where they played Peg Bundy's cousins.

In April and May of 1995 Linda went to Canada to do a two character romantic-comedy for the stage. The play "It Had To Be You", also starred Eddie Mekka, from "Laverne & Shirley". Linda has performed on stage in three different pieces, ironically all have been comedies. In L.A. with Sally Kellerman, "Women Behind Bars" and in San Francisco, "Run For Your Wife" starring Murray Langston ( The Unknown Comic) and Pat Paulson. She also has several other projects that she is currently putting together with her company Falcon-Wolf Productions to produce for herself.

Recently, Linda completed filming a new feature film called "Prey Of The Jaguar" also starring Maxwell Caulfield and Stacey Keach. Linda plays an undercover cop with a quirky personality and a strong supporter of the superhero "Jaguar" played by Mexwell Caulfield. Due out sometime this summer.

Sadly, Linda's Jack Russell dog, "Sheba", was stolen in Hollywood in the mid nineteen eighties. Since then, Linda has been educated on the horrible world of pet theft and the real motivations behind it. Taking the bull by the horns, hoping to put a stop to this crime, she currently is producing a claendar called "Animal's and Their Celebrities" for "Pet Theft Awareness". She hopes the calendar will generate enough funds to support the non-profit group "Last Chance For Animals" based in L.A., to launch a national awareness campaign. Linda recently appeared on the GENESIS AWARDS which will be aired May 25 on the Discovery Channel. These awards are given to the news media and documentaries that have exposed the horrible crimes against animals and do their reporting with honest and courage. In 1991, Linda raised a hundred thousand dollars to save the "Dolphin Research Center", Flipper's original home in Florida. She has donated much time to the homeless and in 1993 raised over three thousand dollars herself by signing autographs for "Feed The Children" it was called, "Linda Blair's Mid West Flood Relief Fund" for the flood victims. She is the spokesperson for such organizations as "Last Chance for Animals" and "ECHO" (the Earth Communications Office). In 1995, Linda hosted an awards show "Metro Teen Aids" in our Nation's capital for teen AIDS awareness. She has appeared in the nation's capital for the Cancer Society and was a spokesperson for the Diabetes Assoc. in 1982. Linda also works with "Variety" the children's charity which helps all children in their time of need around the world. In December, 1995, the AMC Theaters in Burbank, California hosted an evening for the children, where Linda gave out presents with Santa Claus. They also went around to several hospitals giving out presents to the children. She believes strongly in helping the youth in America and faithfully donates autographed items to celebrity auctions, helping those in need.

On a past weekend in Washington D.C., Linda and thousands of people marched on the nation's capital for the "March For The Animals". The march brough in people from around the world to help raise the public's awareness for the horrible atrocities that animals are suffering on a daily basis. The news media barely mentioned Linda's attendance, though she spoke passinately at both the press conference and the march, along with Dr. Jane Goodall, Speaker Howard Lyman (cattle rancher turned vegetarian), the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, Peter Gerard from "The National Alliance For Animals" and many other groups were represented. It ran on CNN in Europe, but not in America. Other celebrities at the march were actresses Tippi Hedren, Rue McClanahan and James Cromwell from the movie "Babe".

Linda spoke on her issues of "Pet Theft Awareness" which she and LCA are making a national campaign and they need everyone's help! She never wants anyone to suffer her same loss and have their companion animal stolen and sold to scientific research.
