The Crown Royal Comedy Soul Festival Kicks Off 20-City Tour
King of Comedy, Walter Latham to Produce
Walter Latham, producer of the box office smash comedy tours "Latham Entertainment Presents," and "Miller Lite Kings and Queens of Comedy Search" announces his 3-hour, indoor-urban festival set to hit 20 of the largest cities across the country, making music and comedy history. Jammin' with Old School R&B, Latham's lineup includes legendary Earth Wind and Fire and the Isley Brothers featuring Ron Isley, along with some of the hottest names off of comedy marquees: Rickey Smiley (BET's "Comic View," "Friday After Next"), Adele Givens (Queens of Comedy, The Hughleys) Earthquake (BET's "Comic View," "Def Comedy Jam") and Bruce Bruce (BET's "Comic View," "The Wash"), as host.
"I liken this event to the Essence Music Festival in New Orleans," says Latham, "the difference is that this festival will travel to the fans instead of having the fans travel to it. I'm excited to combine the worlds of music and comedy - something no one has done thus far."
