Gentry Lee is a successful science fiction novelist, a computer product designer, a space systems engineer, a television writer and producer, and an incurable knowledge junkie. His most recent creative product was the award-winning CD-ROM adventure game, RAMA, released by Sierra On-Line in October 1996. This game was derived from Mr. Lee's three New York Times best-selling novels, RAMA II (1989), The Garden of RAMA (1991), and RAMA Revealed (1994), all of which he co-authored with Arthur C. Clarke, the grandmaster of science fiction. Mr. Lee also collaborated with Mr. Clarke on another science fiction work, Cradle (1987). He has also written a best-selling solo novel, Bright Messengers (1995), and its sequel Double Full Moon Night (1998). Mr. Lee's novels have been translated into twenty-three languages. Between 1976 and 1980, Gentry Lee was partner to the late Carl Sagan in the creation, design development, and implementation of the "COSMOS" television series, and Emmy and Peabody award-winning science documentary that was eventually seen in more than sixty countries. For the past twenty years, Mr. Lee has also been giving lectures all over the world on subjects related to the future, space and science and technology.
