Jim Miklaszewski has been NBC's White House correspondent since 1987, reporting for Nightly News with Tom Brokaw and Today with Bryant Gumbel and Katie Couric. He has covered Bill Clinton since the transition from Little Rock to Washington, reporting on the President's domestic battles with Congress, his foreign trips to Moscow, the Middle East, and Europe, and the crisis in Haiti. He was White House correspondent during the Bush and Reagan Administrations, and reported on President Bush during the Gulf War and the 1992 re-election campaign. While at CNN, Miklaszewski moderated the network's two popular public affairs programs, Election Watch and Newsmaker Sunday. Considered one of the nation's foremost journalists, Miklaszewski has received the cable industry's "ACE" award and the Edward R. Murrow award.
