Sheila launched the high-tech business in October 1998 with $5,000 and five talented friends working off folding tables. In its first year, her start-up recorded $3.7 million in sales, hired 48 employees and produced more than 100 e-learning courses – all without racking up debt. In 1999, she brokered a deal to make her company the Technology Center for the Frontline Group. Today the Boulder, Colorado Frontline Technology Center, which Sheila continues to lead, employs more than 100 people and provides award-winning training to clients worldwide. Sheila’s business savvy and expertise in adult learning make her a highly effective speaker on the subjects of personal growth, sales and leadership, managing change and creating learning organizations. She has two decades of professional speaking experience and is the author of How to Lead a Team and Delight Your Customers and Keep Them for Life. Sheila has a bachelor of arts in English from the University of Maryland and is completing her doctorate in human and organizational development at the Fielding Institute in Santa Barbara, Calif.
