Byron Williams Jr, an american soul, jazz singer and song writer. It's a pleasure to tell you alittle about myself., and where my journeys have led me. And where they will be leading me in the future. In the early 90's I toured with the Drifters for several years throughout southern Europe . Now I am travelling throughout northern Europe and the United States. This has given me a much bigger view of the world in which I live in, and the people living in it. I am based in Oslo, touring in Scandinavia, Finland , Great Britain and the USA. Travelling around the world has made it possible for me to enjoy many cultures and styles of music. I consider myself to be a multi style artist. You will find that I am able to go from soul to rock and roll, very comfortably. I have played with big bands of 17 pieces, 10 pieces, ect…… My taste is varied from Frank Sinatra to Barry White and everything in between. My music varies from the 50's to now. My mentors in music go all over the musical spectrum as well, Luther Vandross, Will Downing, Frank Sinatra, Lou Rawls, James Taylor, Michael Mc Donald, Peabo Bryson. Some say that I am a throw back to the days of the crooners of old, mixed with great anticipation for the future offerings. To put it simple, I am blessed and I enjoy what I do. I am currently working on another cd slated to come out, the first of January 2008.
