SANITY
Lead vocalist Keith Richards brings a unique vocal styling to today’s emo filled rock scene. Blessed with exquisite tone and great songwriting abilities, Keith is a performer extraordinaire. One glimpse of Keith performing live and you know he was meant to be a rock star. Besides singing and songwriting Keith also plays acoustic guitar with the band. Another thing setting SANITY apart from others in today’s rock world is the fact that the band features two lead guitarists. Gregg Stranahan is a crafted songwriter and a master of music melody. His leads are Gilmouresque - sweet beautiful tones with tight melodic phrasing. Have one listen to the lead in “Close My Eyes” and you will know exactly what I mean. Gregg’s style of play is a perfect compliment to the other lead guitarist in SANITY. Brad Peace brings a full bag of musical tricks to the table. Previously voted “Best Guitarist” at The Buffalo Music Awards, Brad is straight from the mold of Joe Satriani and Steve Vai. His performances are electrifying and entertaining. His prowess on the 6-string is admired by many. Bass Guitarist Jason Newbauer brings a wealth of talent to the band. A gifted musician who also plays guitar and keyboards. Holding down the percussion duties for SANITY is Denny Kubas. A highly respected drummer, Denny was once featured in Modern Drummer magazine. His experience and talent behind the kit are instrumental in shaping the SANITY sound. SANITY has shared the stage with many national acts. Some of the artists SANITY has played with include: Fuel, Simple Plan, The Exies, Vernon Reid, Vince Neil, Breaking Benjamin, Firehouse and Robby Takac and Johnny Rzenik of the Goo Goo Dolls. The band has placed music in many films the past year with more planned for 2007. Among them was the recently released Lionsgate DVD “Penny Dreadful” which included the SANITY video “ STAY AWAY” as a bonus feature. The video was shot by the director of the film Richard Brandes.
