The Southern Oregon Blues Band aka...The S.O.B's has been around since 1985 and are still playing thoughout the Northwest and the West Coast and thrilling audiences with their soulful rockin blues. The SOB' s have opened up major shows for The Doobies Brothers, Steppenwolf, Cheap Trick and The Southern Oregon Blues Band are available for hire for any event, party, major concerts, you name it.

Band Started in 1985 by Duane Summers
Duane Summers - Guitar/Vocals/Engineer & Producer Duane Summers has played with "The Platters" & Susan Anton, and as a soundman for Johnny Guitar Watson, Grew up in San Pedro playing and hanging out with Ambrosia Boys, started with White Gas in San Pedro,
and has been in several bands thoughout the USA. Duane started "The Southern Oregon Blues Band" in 1985 with founding members Kirk Hilshire, and The Great Ben Benay, & Dave Forbin. He played with Howard Morlan Band & No Regrets, with Big Jim Keene on Sax and Keyboards, The Sweet Medicine Band and many others musicians he recorded with doing studio work. Duane is also an accomplish studio engineer, & producer.
Sandra Summers (bassist for The Southern Oregon Blues Band) Sandra started playing the bass since 1971 and she performed and was recorded in 1972 with The Aptos High School Jazz Band. Sandra's musical background started with her mom (Virginia) playing bass in high school, and her grandfather, Edward Crespillo playing spanish classical and flamenco music, and captivated her since she was 2 years old. His stage named was (El nino de' Cordova) and was a professional musician and played thoughout Spain, he had also played with The great spanish guitarist "Andre Segovia" in Seville, Espana. Sandra's Grandfather Crespillo (papa) was a "major" influence to her future music career. She moved to Oregon in 1987 and Sandra met her future husband Guitarist Duane Summers and he then brought out the boogie in her and desire to play bass again. So 9 years and a thousand gigs later & 3 basses,& several amps and speakers Sandra is still touring the west coast and in the studio with "The Southern Oregon Blues Band".
TOM SCOTT: Drums, Lead and backup vocals / Tom has been playing professionaly for 43 years,with some time out to serve in the Army and a Vietnam Vet. and study music. He has performed with such artists as Johnny Winter, and on the same bill as Edgar Winter,38 Special, ElvinBishop, KiZZ, Ronnie Montrose, and many more. Tom is proud to be the newest member of "The Southern Oregon Blues Band"
